The Jamaica TAJÍN Skirt Steak

Serves: 4 - Prep time: 20 minutes

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots
  • 2 cups white wine
  • ¾ cup Jamaica concentrate unsweetened
  • ½ cup TAJÍN Clásico Seasoning®
  • 4 marinated flank steaks approx. ½ lb.
  • Pepper and chicken bouillon powder to taste  


  1. Sauté the garlic and shallots, add the TAJÍN Clásico Seasoning® pepper and chicken stock, mix a little, add the wine and Jamaica water. Let boil until reduced by half.


  1. Prepare the flank steaks on a grill or griddle until they reach the desired doneness. Place prepared flank steaks on a platter and pour the Jamaica sauce over them.  Serve with white rice, mashed potatoes, or French fries. You can garnish with fried Jamaica (Hibiscus) flowers that are delicious on their own.



What are the flank steaks marinated in?

Take a paper towel and remove the silver skin/membrane as much as possible. Marinade overnight at least. Enjoy.
