Ingredients

  • 1 medium potato, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup whole milk or cream
  • 1 tsp butter or oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a small pot, sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft (2–3 min).
  2. Add diced potato and broth. Simmer until potatoes are tender (10–12 min).
  3. Blend or mash the soup to your desired texture.
  4. Stir in milk or cream, season with salt and pepper, and heat through.
  5. Serve hot, topped with cheese, bacon, green onion, and a sprinkle of Tajín® Clásico
