Ingredients
- 1 medium potato, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/2 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup whole milk or cream
- 1 tsp butter or oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
Toppings
- 1/4 tsp Tajín® Clásico Seasoning
- 1 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 tsp sliced green onion
Preparation
- In a small pot, sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft (2–3 min).
- Add diced potato and broth. Simmer until potatoes are tender (10–12 min).
- Blend or mash the soup to your desired texture.
- Stir in milk or cream, season with salt and pepper, and heat through.
- Serve hot, topped with cheese, bacon, green onion, and a sprinkle of Tajín® Clásico
