Aguachile TAJÍN

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. peeled shrimp; cut in half
  • 1 bottle of TAJÍN Clásico Seasoning®
  • 1 large white onion, sliced and soaked in water and lime*
  • 2 cups lime juice
  • Pepper

Preparation

Cover shrimp TAJÍN Clásico Seasoning®. Pour the lime juice, garnish with the onion and add pepper to taste. Let sit for at least 8 minutes. Serve with crackers, toast, mayonnaise and a cold beer.   *This removes some of the bite from the onion. Soak the slices in ice cold water with a touch of lime or lime juice for about 10 minutes.
