• Choose dishes that let you enjoy the game and the guests as well. You don't really want to be standing over a pot of hot oil deep frying great tasting treats when you could be slapping your friends on the back and celebrating a great play!
• Keep your choices of beverages coming...all the cheering is sure to work up a serious thirst!
• Keep decorations simple ... team colors and pennants add ambience but honestly, most guests will have ALL eyes on your TV screens.
• Be sure to keep paper towels and napkins at each of your food areas. And if you have carpets keep rug cleaner handy for the occasional mess that comes from arms flailing in excitement.
Treat yourself or use as a great Holiday gift, this recipe for
TAJÍN HOLIDAY NUTS
will become a favorite among family and friends.

Ingredients:
2 ½ cups Pecans or mixed nuts like cashews, almonds or walnuts
1 egg white
¼ cup sugar
1 ¾ teaspoons Classic TAJÍN
¼ teaspoon Allspice
½ teaspoon Cumin

Directions:
1. Pre heat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Beat the egg white until soft and foamy.
3. Combine all the ingredients EXCEPT the nuts.
4. Whisk the nuts into the egg white mixture.
5. Spread the whole mixture IN A SINGLE LAYER on an ungreased cookie sheet or baking pan.
6. Bake at 300 F for 15 minutes
7. Remove from oven and using a metal spatula toss, stir and separate the nuts.
8. Reduce heat to 250 degrees Fahrenheit and return nuts to oven for an additional 10 minutes.
9. Remove from oven when golden brown, stir again and place cookie sheet or pan on a wire rack to cool.
They will crisp up when cool. Separate any nuts that stick together. Serve in a festive dish or package in Holiday tins for tasty gifts!
